〰 Wavy / Warped BrimLay hat upright on a clean, flat surface that can withstand heat. With a hard and heavy object (like a book or mug) slowly glide over the brim to press it flat. An iron or steamer may be used for a heavier-duty job. In 5 minutes or less, your brim should be back to its default flat "Rancher" style. |
✧˖° Spot CleaningUse a dry, soft-bristled brush (like a new toothbrush) to gently rub out dust & dirt in a circular motion. To remove stains, carefully spot clean with a damp sponge (like a makeup blender) or washcloth. |
◎ Oily SweatbandSprinkle corn starch along the sweatband (located along the inside circumference of the hat) to absorb & neutralize stains caused by hair products, makeup or body oils. Leave for 2-3 hours before shaking off. |
༄ Gimme the Deep CleanTo clean the entire hat, fill a clean bowl, sink or tub with COLD water (warning: hot water can irreversibly damage the hat). Dilute a teaspoon of mild, bleach-free laundry detergent (such as Woolite) into the water, and submerge the entire hat for 15-30 minutes. Remove the hat from soapy water and rinse in cold water until the water runs clear. Air dry, laying flat on a clean towel, away from the sun. |
